***PREREQUISITE:

To ensure the best SUP-Yoga experience for everyone in the class we require a basic foundation and comfort on a Paddle Board.

We require that you have either done a Paddle Board Rental, Group Lesson, Sunset Paddle, or have experience Paddle Boarding yourself.

Don’t be worried, Paddle Boarding is not that difficult to learn. We just want to make sure that once you do come to SUP-Yoga you can get the most out of it and can focus entirely on the amazing Yoga aspects.

 

 SUP YOGA CLASS (75Min):

Includes on land intro 15min to prepare you to take the sequence of postures onto the water – 60min yoga session on water.

SUP Yoga is a combination of Stand Up Paddling and Yoga, the emphasis on core stability is a wonderful addition to the yoga practise and paddling experience.

Once on the water we will flow and move while floating and enjoying all the elements of the landscapes & finish our practise in relaxation, meditation. Yoga classes include: Seated Standing Lying down poses (Child pose, downward dog, seated twists to name a few

  • Introductory Yoga Poses
  • Seated and Standing Poses
  • Relaxation and Meditation

 

EXPERIENCED CLASS (75Min):

This class will offer students wanting to play & move on the water through their yoga practise. You will learn safe ways to build your core stability in this wonderful way to practise yoga.

  • Brief Land Intro
  • Combination of breath with movement
  • Various poses
  • Building flows from board up
  • Variety of Traditional Poses
